While in our customer’s facilities, we noticed workers sterilizing individual parts, but struggling to disengage these bulk product parts that were stacked together for shipping. The problem turned out to be the result of jostling during transit.
Convinced we could save them time, we engineered a special piece of equipment to go onto a basic thermoforming machine that shuffled the bulk parts in alternating fashion prior to stacking. Now the parts were easy to separate and, in the end, saved our customer hundreds of thousands of dollars annually in labor costs.
